TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Fintech): Generating revenue by closing national account sales and managing high-profile clients with an accent on identifying and converting qualified opportunities in the Tax and Legal Research & Learning Technology space. Focus on researching prospects, working on inbound and outbound marketing campaigns, and communicating the value proposition to senior decision-makers.

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in Macquarie Park (Sydney), Australia

What you will do

  • Generate new sales prospects.
  • Maintain post-sales contact with large or strategic clients.
  • Communicate with customers regarding account problems and discuss concerns and suggestions.
  • Focus efforts on product feedback, enhancement, upgrades, and development.
  • Report suggestions to and develop solutions with sales, order processing, and customer success and support team.
  • Compile data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales or equivalent experience.
  • Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, and the market.
  • Excellent communication (both written & oral) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan own territory/account approach and manage own resources.
  • Ability to interact with clients and understand their needs.
  • Knowledge of effective sales strategies and techniques.
