Salary: USA-based roles only: $192,000 USD and $278,000 USD. Canada-based roles only: $171,000 CAD and $248,000 CAD.

What you will do
- Coordinate cycle planning, design reviews, and project planning for the team.
- Hire and manage engineers of varied levels, ranging from junior to staff, fostering an environment of innovation, execution, and collaboration.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to build and refine the team’s roadmap.
- Drive execution with an emphasis on iterations and deliverables, quality, velocity, and communication.
- Provide technical leadership to developers both in your team and across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years experience in a role where you were responsible for managing a team of software engineers.
- Manage and grow a high-performing, inclusive team by coaching engineers and developing future leaders.
- Foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and career growth through regular feedback and performance management.
- The ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment in which everyone is supported, encouraged, and meaningfully challenged to do great work.
- You take ownership of your team’s outcomes and feel confident making decisions in ambiguous situations while empowering others to do the same.
- Successfully coordinated and delivered large-scale projects before that touched multiple areas of the business, product, or underlying architecture.
