Location: In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually.

Salary: $218,025—$256,500 USD

What you will do

• Build and manage engineering teams to guide the development of features, services, and infrastructure.
• Coach direct reports to positively impact the organization and support their career growth.
• Implement the team's multi-year strategy and collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to create a roadmap every quarter.
• Provide technical guidance, aid in architectural decisions, and foster a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery and operation of multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.
• Work with talent to recruit engineers who align with hirify.global's culture and will help the team scale.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 2 years of engineering management experience.
• Strong understanding of high-quality code and effective engineering practices.
• Execution-focused mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and delivering results.
• Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term planning.
• Experience in creating, delivering, and operating multi-tenanted, distributed systems at scale.

Nice to have

• Prior experience leading a Platform or similar domain team.
• Experience with rapid company growth from startup to mid-size.
• Crypto-forward experience, including familiarity with onchain activity such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, using ENS, and engaging with dApps or blockchain-based services.
• Experience decomposing a large monolith into microservices.
• Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Sinatra, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or Redshift.
• Experience building financial, high-reliability, or security systems.
