What you will do
- Lead, grow and mentor a talented team of backend and full-stack engineers building core monetization systems.
- Define and execute technical strategy for a unified monetization platform integrating with Finance and GTM Ops.
- Enable other product teams to manage customer access and pricing logic through scalable APIs and reusable UX components.
- Champion operational excellence, promoting strong engineering practices and high reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing and scaling technical teams of six or more engineers.
- Proven success leading teams that build and scale backend or platform systems in transaction-heavy domains.
- Have a track record of guiding product and long term technical strategy.
- Be a strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and quality.
- Have experience hiring, managing and upleveling senior individual contributors.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across engineering, product, and go-to-market stakeholders.
- Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact.
Nice to have
- Experience leading teams that build or scale enterprise billing, pricing, or financial data platforms.
- Background in SaaS monetization, revenue operations, or entitlement management.
- Familiarity with self-serve commerce and product-led growth models.
- Experience scaling systems and teams through periods of high growth or re-architecture.
