What you will do

• Develop and implement a strategy for AI tools and automation, translating complex accounting workflows into technical requirements.
• Design robust, scalable financial processes that meet the company’s current needs and future growth, ensuring seamless data flow between AI solutions and core systems like Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Lead transformation projects, breaking down complex initiatives into short weekly "sprints".
• Serve as the bridge for hesitant operations teams, diagnosing bottlenecks, building trust, and coaching the team through the transition from manual work to AI-augmented workflows.
• Ensure all automated processes are robust, audit-ready, and fully compliant with US GAAP.
• Manage the "Transformation Backlog," deciding what to fix now, what to automate next, and what to stop doing entirely.

Requirements

• CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a background in Big 4 or Management Consulting highly preferred.
• In-depth understanding of core finance processes and how they map to enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to leverage Tier 1 ERPs (Oracle Fusion preferred) and integrate them with third-party tech solutions to transform business processes.
• Expert project management skills with experience in Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong consultative communication skills, able to communicate with both auditors and developers.
