TL;DR

Sales Specialist (Cybersecurity): Driving growth for Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) propositions by partnering with sales and engineering teams to shape complex commercial deals. Focus on navigating multi-stakeholder negotiations, pricing strategy, and aligning technical security solutions with client business outcomes.

Location: Office-based in Manchester or London, or Remote in the USA. Mandatory pre-employment background check (BS7858) required.

What you will do

  • Partner with Client Executives to build and close complex MXDR opportunities.
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract structuring, and commercial risk assessment for service proposals.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture to validate feasibility and scope.
  • Support customer-facing presentations and workshops to demonstrate service value.
  • Orchestrate sales campaigns and mentor account teams on market trends and service positioning.
  • Act as the primary bridge between Sales, Product, and Delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with commercial contracts, SOWs, MSAs, and SLAs.
  • Strong understanding of MXDR, including SOC, SIEM, EDR, NDR, and identity management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
  • Ability to create and refine business cases and ROI models for complex deals.
  • Must be willing and able to undergo mandatory pre-employment background checks (BS7858).
  • Strong communication and influence skills for high-level stakeholder engagement.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft security technologies.
  • Experience with Splunk or Sentinel One ecosystems.
