TL;DR

Sales Development Representative Intern (AI): Supporting pipeline generation and outbound prospecting for a Work AI platform with an accent on lead identification, account research, and early qualification. Focus on developing foundational sales skills, mastering cold outreach techniques, and effectively articulating the value of AI-powered enterprise search to prospective customers.

Location: Must be based in Nashville, TN for the full 10-week program. This is an onsite, 5 days a week role.

Compensation: $21.25 per hour plus a one-time $3,000 housing/relocation stipend.

What you will do

  • Generate new business pipelines through targeted outbound prospecting.
  • Identify key decision-makers and research target accounts to source net new opportunities.
  • Perform cold calling and email outreach to initiate prospect engagement.
  • Support early qualification conversations and learn to guide prospects through evaluation stages.
  • Practice attentive listening and articulate hirify.global’s value proposition to address customer challenges.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to refine messaging and share campaign feedback.

Requirements

  • Current college junior at a four-year university graduating in Spring 2027.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Nashville, TN for the 10-week duration.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage new people.
  • Team-centric mindset and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Coachable attitude with a strong interest in technology and sales.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in customer-facing roles, internships, or campus leadership.
  • Exposure to sales, business development, or competitive team environments.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce or Sales Navigator.
