TL;DR

Senior Solution Designer (Broadband): Leading end-to-end technical solutions for broadband network services with an accent on OSS/BSS integration and architectural compliance. Focus on driving complex technical roadmaps, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering scalable solutions for high-impact infrastructure projects.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Birmingham, United Kingdom (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote).

What you will do

  • Define and implement technical solutions for complex broadband and ethernet domains.
  • Ensure solution alignment with regulatory, security, and architectural policies.
  • Provide technical quality assurance for cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing technical practices and workflows.
  • Resolve complex, cross-domain technical challenges affecting customers and operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical designs with overall business strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in Solution Architecture, Platform design, or e2e testing within Broadband/Ethernet products.
  • Proficiency with OSS and BSS systems.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Ability to make technical decisions under ambiguous conditions.
  • Strong understanding of fixed network product lifecycles.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of TM Forum Open Digital Framework and Open APIs.
  • Experience with UK Broadband OSS/BSS stack (L2C, T2R, P&B).
  • Experience in active strategy setting and roadmap planning.
