What you will do

• Conduct architecture assessments and develop target and transition architectures for water utilities.
• Lead design and implementation of end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging Azure and AWS platforms.
• Architect data platforms using Azure Data Services and Databricks, including AI/ML solutions for predictive analytics and asset management.
• Serve as a domain expert in water utilities, advising on best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams ensuring adherence to architectural standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution roadmaps and present architectural concepts.

Requirements

• Must have deep domain expertise in water utilities and experience in IT architecture.
• Extensive experience with Azure and AWS cloud architectures and data platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML, IoT, and operational technologies is a plus.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly to client accounts in the UK.
• Preferred certifications: Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Architect, TOGAF or equivalent.
