Salary: £72,702 – £80,780

What you will do

• Design and build robust, scalable solutions using modern technology stacks.
• Evaluate cloud-based architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
• Develop technical strategies, proposals, and statements of work (SOWs).
• Build and maintain reliable systems for reference and product data management.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate DevOps practices and automated solutions.
• Lead the evaluation of emerging technologies for enterprise-wide implementation.

Requirements

• Four years of hands-on experience in application architecture.
• Proven understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud concepts.
• Expertise in reference data, product data management, and cataloging systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Must be able to work from the Bristol office for at least two days per week.

Nice to have

• Google Professional Cloud Architect or Data Engineer Certification.
• Experience with Informatica, event streaming, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of microservices, Kubernetes, Docker, and API management (Apigee).
• Understanding of AI/ML, security frameworks (OWASP), and CDN architecture.
