What you will do

• Lead solutions design and architecture across multi-brand, multi-tenanted wealth digital technology estate.
• Develop contemporary, services-driven architecture to digitize customer journeys and meet strategic goals.
• Simplify and redefine the technology and data landscape.
• Deliver flexible, future-focused core platform capabilities for customer benefit.
• Design solutions considering security, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex architectural change involving multiple systems evolving together.
• Extensive knowledge of web and API architecture patterns including microservices, CQRS, and publish-subscribe.
• Experience designing solutions for security, reliability, and scale.
• Proficiency with security patterns such as authentication/single-sign-on (e.g. OAuth) and encryption.
• Ability to work 40% (two days) in the Edinburgh or Leeds office.

Nice to have

• Practical experience designing and building cloud-based platforms at scale (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Understanding of domain driven design architectures and building event-driven systems.
• Experience owning the architectural strategy for a domain or system.
• Content management frameworks and tools.
