What you will do
- Lead solutions design and architecture across multi-brand, multi-tenanted wealth digital technology estate.
- Develop contemporary, services-driven architecture to digitize customer journeys and meet strategic goals.
- Simplify and redefine the technology and data landscape.
- Deliver flexible, future-focused core platform capabilities for customer benefit.
- Design solutions considering security, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements
- Experience leading complex architectural change involving multiple systems evolving together.
- Extensive knowledge of web and API architecture patterns including microservices, CQRS, and publish-subscribe.
- Experience designing solutions for security, reliability, and scale.
- Proficiency with security patterns such as authentication/single-sign-on (e.g. OAuth) and encryption.
- Ability to work 40% (two days) in the Edinburgh or Leeds office.
Nice to have
- Practical experience designing and building cloud-based platforms at scale (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
- Understanding of domain driven design architectures and building event-driven systems.
- Experience owning the architectural strategy for a domain or system.
- Content management frameworks and tools.
