TL;DR

Senior Enterprise Architect (Fintech): Leading the strategic technology landscape and architecture vision for major banking transformation programs with an accent on cloud platforms, API design, and microservices. Focus on setting architectural roadmaps, influencing executive decision-making, and mentoring architecture teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Location: Must be based in the UK and able to work in a hybrid model (at least 40% of time in the office in Edinburgh, Bristol, Halifax, Leeds, or Manchester).

Salary: £90,400–£106,400

  • Define and deliver long-term technology strategies aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, hybrid hosting, and modern architectural patterns.
  • Strong background in API design, microservices, and data strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence architectural vision at senior levels.
  • Experience leading and mentoring technical architecture teams.

Nice to have

  • Deep industry knowledge in banking or financial services.
  • Expertise in service resilience, disaster recovery, and continuity planning.
  • Specific experience with modern payment platforms and integration strategies.
  • Advanced capabilities in data architecture and ETL processes.
