What you will do

• Execute coherent, brand-aligned design across digital and physical products.
• Lead the end-to-end design of native applications to power scientists.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs translating complex user needs into clear interfaces.
• Develop and maintain a cohesive design system, including components, guidelines, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to implement designs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design, specifically in SaaS or data-intensive applications.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design from research to high-fidelity visual execution.
• Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Deep understanding of interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility.
• Extreme openness to leveraging AI tools within the design workflow.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific research software.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or Plotly.
• Basic front-end prototyping skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
• Prior experience scaling a design system.
