Location: Hybrid work environment with office presence required in New York City 3 days a week; San Francisco and Boston employees work remotely with occasional visits to hubs in Toronto, Vancouver, and NYC

Salary: $148,500–$220,000 USD annually depending on level and location

What you will do

• Own design end-to-end from discovery through polished production-ready designs
• Create elegant, intuitive interfaces that make banking delightful and trustworthy
• Communicate design rationale through storytelling to align product and engineering teams
• Lead design critiques, mentor peers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers from day one

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with impactful shipped work
• Experience designing SaaS products
• Strong visual sensibility and thoughtful UX design skills
• Ability to own design process end-to-end including research and iteration
• Comfortable simplifying complex systems into intuitive experiences
• Experience with generative and evaluative research and AI tools for prototyping

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or complex system domains
• Designing platform-wide features like permissions and notifications
• Familiarity with front-end development, motion design, or illustration
• Mentoring or coaching peers to raise design craft

• 45-minute conversation with Director of Product Design
• 60-minute panel interview with portfolio review and live critique
• 45-minute remote interview with executive team member
• Design assignment followed by final 60-minute interview
