Product Design Manager (SaaS): Leading the self-serve product design team to improve user onboarding, activation, and monetization with an accent on AI-native workflows and product-led growth. Location: Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, New York City, or Los Angeles (Onsite role).

Compensation: $224,000 – $317,200 USD base salary.

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of 1-3 product designers, fostering a culture of feedback and professional growth.
  • Partner with product and engineering leaders to define roadmaps and execute high-impact design solutions.
  • Shape product strategy through design-led exploration, rapid prototyping, and AI-driven concepts.
  • Own end-to-end design for significant features while remaining hands-on with individual design contributions.
  • Balance resourcing and scope work effectively to maintain team velocity and high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a design management role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic design thinking and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to bridge the gap between people leadership and hands-on execution.
  • Deep experience working closely with product management and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving organizational structures.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
