What you will do

• Serve as the Project Manager on assigned third-party tax software implementations (Vertex, Avalara, Sovos) and custom development projects.
• Manage system integration projects involving major ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.
• Conduct requirements analysis and design for indirect tax software solutions.
• Oversee programming for custom system interfaces and modification of existing interfaces.
• Develop project documentation including design specifications and test plans.
• Lead and mentor team members to drive core project activities and project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• Must have one of the following: Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma, Lean certification, Master’s in related field, or equivalent accounting/law license.
• Five years of experience with SAP/Oracle functional or technical environments.
• Two years of design and development experience specifically with Oracle EBS/ERP Cloud or SAP ABAP.
• Deep technical understanding of ERP table structures and Order-to-Cash / Procure-to-Pay streams.
• Must be able to travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience in public accounting.
• Knowledge of SAP Namespace development.
