Salary: $55–$65 USD per hour

What you will do

• Build scalable distributed systems handling traffic from hundreds of thousands of global devices.
• Develop and maintain high-reliability microservice architectures for device configuration and interaction.
• Work extensively with relational and key-value databases including Postgres, Redis, and DynamoDB.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and Kubernetes for service deployment.
• Design secure, clean APIs using Python or Go.
• Incorporate cutting-edge computer vision features into security products.

Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site at hirify.global HQ in San Mateo, CA during winter or summer 2026.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, graduating by June 2027.
• Prior internship experience in product development and launching software.
• Proficiency in Python or Golang and familiarity with distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with AWS, Linux servers, and Docker containers.
• Comfortable operating within an agile team development environment.
