What you will do

• Develop cutting-edge camera image processing algorithms including noise reduction, sharpening, tone mapping, and scaling.
• Collaborate on subjective assessment of image and video quality to test and evaluate outputs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve visual quality of video solutions.

Requirements

• Must be located on-site in San Jose, California, USA
• Currently pursuing M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with focus on Image Processing.
• Strong knowledge of image signal processing fundamentals and experience with C/C++ on Linux or embedded platforms.
• Experience with image quality assessment techniques and metrics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across hardware, firmware, and algorithm teams.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage product development environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with camera software development on Android platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Understanding of digital video technologies and processing workflows.
• Experience in AI/ML, especially computer vision techniques.
