Location: Hybrid in Germany. Individual contributors work 4 days or more per month on-site in the Berlin office.

What you will do

• Execute daily payment runs, perform checks/controls, and manage release/approval steps.
• Keep payment routing correct end-to-end, ensuring the right rails/providers/bank accounts are used and flows are handled cleanly.
• Resolve payment exceptions by monitoring statuses and working through rejects/returns/failed payments with clear tracking and follow-through.
• Run daily bank reconciliations, investigating breaks and driving root-cause fixes.
• Ensure ledger-accurate double-entry postings and keep them traceable.
• Partner with Product/Engineering on tooling to turn operational needs into improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant ops experience in Banking Ops, Payments Ops, Finance/Accounting Ops, Treasury Ops, or similar, ideally within a regulated environment.
• Experience in payment execution end-to-end, including exception handling.
• Hands-on reconciliation and investigation skills.
• Strong accounting and ledger foundation, confident with double-entry applied to bank flows.
• High accuracy and audit-ready documentation skills.
• Understanding of end-to-end payment flows.
