Location: Must be based in Munich, Germany, with a requirement to work from the office at least 3 days per week.

What you will do
- Lead the finance function for a portfolio of companies, managing internal and offshore resources.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting, including contract management, expense booking, and treasury operations.
- Prepare GAAP financial statements, board reports, budgets, and KPIs.
- Perform quality assurance on financial work products and revenue recognition.
- Lead the financial integration of new acquisitions and implement process improvements.
- Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency.
Requirements
- Fluency in German and English is required.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FCA, FCCA) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a finance or accounting leadership role.
- Ability to lead teams, drive change, and manage offshore resources.
- Must be able to work from the Munich office at least 3 days per week.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with senior executives.
Nice to have
- Experience with U.S. GAAP and Oracle NetSuite.
- Background in M&A integration or financial system transitions.
