Finance Manager (DACH)

What you will do

• Lead the finance function for a portfolio of companies, managing internal and offshore resources.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, including contract management, expense booking, and treasury operations.
• Prepare GAAP financial statements, board reports, budgets, and KPIs.
• Perform quality assurance on financial work products and revenue recognition.
• Lead the financial integration of new acquisitions and implement process improvements.
• Document and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency.

Requirements

• Fluency in German and English is required.
• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, FCA, FCCA) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a finance or accounting leadership role.
• Ability to lead teams, drive change, and manage offshore resources.
• Must be able to work from the Munich office at least 3 days per week.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with senior executives.

Nice to have

• Experience with U.S. GAAP and Oracle NetSuite.
• Background in M&A integration or financial system transitions.
