Technical Accounting Manager (Fintech)

Location: This is a hybrid position in Reno, NV or Las Vegas, NV

Salary: $125,000 to $135,000 USD

What you will do

• Provide technical accounting guidance to internal customers and prepare technical accounting position papers.
• Provide guidance and training to divisional accounting and finance directors on technical accounting matters.
• Monitor and review the actual recording of the accounting treatment to ensure compliance with the issued technical accounting papers.
• Assist with the analysis of contracts under revenue recognition and leasing standards.
• Support the month-end close process and the quarterly and annual financial statement disclosure process.
• Assist in the coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. Degree in Accounting.
• +5 years of combined Public and Private Industry accounting.
• CPA certified, preferred.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Experience within a multinational business preferred.
