What you will do
- Partner with HR and business leaders to manage performance management cases from start to resolution, including coaching and supporting termination decisions
- Guide leaders through employee relations issues such as conduct concerns, policy violations, and complaints
- Conduct thorough workplace investigations, including documentation and stakeholder interviews
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies in all employee relations actions
- Collaborate with Legal, HR, Payroll, and IT for compliant off-boarding processes
- Contribute to process improvements and deliver training on people relations best practices
Requirements
- Must be located in the United States
- 5+ years experience in Employee Relations, HR Business Partnering, or People Relations
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and discretion skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, global remote environment
Nice to have
- Project management skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience working with employees and contractors
- Familiarity with HRIS and HR-related software systems
