What you will do
- Partner with business leaders to shape culture, grow capability, and drive people decisions that are commercially sound.
- Coach leaders for impact and build their capability in performance, reward, and recognition.
- Resolve complex people matters, including underperformance, complaints, employee disputes, and visa requirements across multiple markets.
- Anticipate business shifts, identify risks, and shape workforce strategy and planning accordingly.
- Use data to influence planning, performance management, compensation, and engagement.
- Continuously iterate on People Systems and Processes, making them clearer, leaner, and more scalable.
Requirements
- 5+ years in a strategic HR Manager or People Business Partner role within a high-performance environment (e.g. tech, high-growth startup, or consulting).
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.
- Experience managing direct reports and supporting people leaders across functions.
- Proficient in tracking and interpreting people metrics to inform decisions.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with German or South African employment frameworks.
