TL;DR

Customer Sales Director (SaaS): Driving expansion within a portfolio of Commercial and Enterprise accounts by managing multiple sales cycles and customer campaigns targeting Analytics Engineering, Data Platform, and Data Governance personas. Focus on protecting renewals through account monitoring and deepening executive alignment to help customers realize consistent value.

Location: Must be based in Austin, TX (3 days in office preferred)

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 USD

What you will do

  • Build a strategic plan to drive expansion in a portfolio of Commercial and Enterprise accounts.
  • Manage multiple sales cycles and customer campaigns targeting Analytics Engineering, Data Platform, and Data Governance personas.
  • Protect renewals by monitoring account signals, deepening executive alignment, and helping customers realize consistent value.

Requirements

  • Have 4+ years of experience in SaaS sales or account management, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, adapting quickly to constant change.
  • Possesses strong consultative selling skills, engaging effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Are proactive and organized, capable of independently managing a diverse book of business.

Nice to have

  • You have prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, or open-source software.
  • You are familiar with dbt (core or Cloud) and the modern data stack, including platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
  • You have experience with consumption and/or usage-based pricing structures.
  • You have experience with the MEDD(P)ICC sales methodology / Command of the Message
