Location: Austin, Texas, with hybrid work format requiring office presence two days per week

Salary: $145,000 - $202,000 USD OTE range

What you will do

• Lead pre-sales technical discussions and demos to showcase dbt Cloud’s value to prospective customers
• Consult with customers to identify data challenges and tailor solutions accordingly
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders
• Contribute to internal process improvements and represent customer feedback in product discussions
• Create and deliver external-facing educational content such as live events and tutorials

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Austin, Texas with hybrid work requiring office presence two days per week
• 4+ years experience in data operations or analytics with strong SQL and modern data stack knowledge
• Prior experience with dbt preferred; dbt certification is a plus
• Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and working asynchronously in distributed teams
• Willingness to travel for events as needed

Nice to have

• Basic Python competency and advanced SQL skills
• Experience in pre-sales technical roles
• Familiarity with traditional ETL tooling
