SG- Principal Project Manager (Banking/Investment Management) (FinTech and investment management): Leading complex implementation projects and programs for banks, asset managers, fund managers, insurers, and pension plans with an accent on client engagement, resource management, financial control, and stakeholder complexity. Focus on coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project risks, measuring delivery performance, and improving project management practices.
Location: Singapore; hybrid workplace with two office days per week and remote work on other days

What you will do
- Lead complex implementation projects and programs in line with business goals, client expectations, and organizational objectives.
- Manage project plans, budgets, resources, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and documentation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee efficient execution across multiple project streams.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor delivery performance through key metrics.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Improve project management practices and mentor junior project managers.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of relevant experience managing and delivering complex, multi-stream projects.
- Thorough understanding of business processes across asset management, fund management, banking, insurance, and pension plans.
- Strong leadership, planning, prioritization, communication, presentation, negotiation, conflict management, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to balance quality, cost, risk, and resources when making decisions.
- Fluency in English.
- PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification, plus readiness to travel to customer sites.
