What you will do

• Conduct open source monitoring and research to identify potential threats using Farsi language skills.
• Communicate potential threats clearly and concisely to security and law enforcement personnel.
• Provide expert Farsi translation and cultural context.
• Utilize Boolean logic, automated search tools, and advanced techniques for threat detection.
• Support multi-national events and assist in training development.
• Collaborate with overseas and domestic teams to support intelligence operations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work on-site in Arlington, VA, USA
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience or 4 years relevant experience without degree.
• Proficiency in Farsi language with translation skills and cultural knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English and Farsi.
• Knowledge of internet research, Boolean logic, and machine translation methods.
• Ability to learn new software and interact effectively at all levels.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of popular and fringe social media platforms.
• Formal Open Source Intelligence or advanced internet research training.
• Iranian Farsi knowledge is a plus.
