Arabic Interpreter (Humanitarian)

Location: Boise, ID USA (Combination of office, remote, and field work)

What you will do

• Provide accurate, impartial, and confidential interpretation in clinics, hospitals, schools, and government agencies.
• Deliver interpretation services in-person, via telephone, or through videoconferencing.
• Track assignments and working hours using designated software.
• Participate in training and assessments to maintain service quality.
• Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• Spoken proficiency in Arabic is required (dialects like Levantine, Maghrebi, Egyptian, and Sudanese preferred).
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Must have reliable transportation to appointment locations.
• Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma and interpretation certification are preferred.
