What you will do

• Manage and grow a Trust & Safety engineering team including hiring, performance management, and career development
• Own technical direction for bot detection, content moderation, anomaly detection, and fraud prevention systems
• Drive design and evolution of scalable data pipelines for detection and enforcement
• Oversee development of internal tools and dashboards for Trust & Safety operations
• Partner with product, engineering, legal, and finance to define and execute Trust & Safety roadmap
• Analyze emerging attack vectors and adapt detection strategies accordingly

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Work onsite 5 days a week in San Francisco
• 4+ years managing engineering teams in Trust & Safety, fraud detection, or content moderation
• Strong technical skills in Python, SQL, data engineering pipelines (Dagster, Airflow), and analytical databases (Snowflake preferred)
• Experience with anomaly detection, anti-abuse strategies, real-time systems, and event-driven architectures
• Strong technical leadership and people management abilities

• Experience at consumer tech or creator-platform companies
• Experience scaling Trust & Safety teams from early stage to 10+ engineers
