What you will do
- Architect and develop scalable, reusable frontend components and shared libraries powering web applications.
- Define and lead long-term technical direction of the web platform including framework and architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to deliver a cohesive, high-quality web experience.
- Set standards for frontend best practices including code quality, accessibility, performance, and design system consistency.
- Improve frontend tooling, build pipelines, and developer workflows to increase engineering velocity.
- Champion adoption of AI-powered development tools and establish best practices for their effective use.
Requirements
- Must be commutable to NYC or SF with hybrid in-office attendance required
- 7+ years professional frontend engineering experience with strong React and JavaScript expertise.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Experience building and evolving component libraries, design systems, or shared UI frameworks at scale.
- Deep understanding of web performance optimization including bundle optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and enthusiasm for AI in engineering.
