What you will do

• Lead web performance initiatives across the Legend platform, profiling and shipping improvements to speed and responsiveness.
• Optimize JavaScript internals and browser rendering pipelines to handle real-time market data.
• Develop high-frequency UI components that maintain high frame rates under heavy data streaming.
• Establish performance benchmarks and monitoring systems to maintain engineering standards.
• Partner with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver polished trading experiences at scale.
• Drive a performance-first culture through technical documentation and rigorous code reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in web development with a focus on infrastructure, tooling, or platform engineering.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one other language.
• Experience with frontend infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, or build systems.
• Ability to navigate complex developer ecosystems with numerous stakeholders.
• In-person attendance required at least 3 days per week in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY.
