TL;DR
Software Engineer, Frontend - Policy (Cybersecurity): Building and maintaining the user interface for the Falcon platform's policy framework with an accent on scalable component architecture and high-quality user experience. Location: Hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site in Sunnyvale, CA, USA
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

What you will do
- Own features from design to delivery, including writing automated tests and performing code reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in accessibility, performance, and scalable architecture.
- Build tools and identify improvements to enhance team productivity and developer experience.
- Utilize AI tools extensively to accelerate internal development processes.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers and product management to drive the technical architecture of the policy framework.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building features for web applications.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Strong fundamentals in HTML and CSS.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Comfort using AI tools as part of the development lifecycle.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA (2-3 days per week)
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Knowledge of graphics and visualization tools like D3 or ThreeJS.
- Familiarity with client-side build tools such as Ember CLI or Webpack.
- Experience with websockets and real-time web services.
- Contributions to open source projects.
