What you will do

• Match innovative yet practical data solutions to customers’ problems.
• Balance multiple factors in the delivery of solutions including effectiveness, cost, reliability, and risk.
• Capture and present essential requirements through documentation, presentations, and proofs of concept.
• Translate requirements into alternative design approaches.
• Help clients navigate the process of selecting the best solution.
• Link technology components to process, organizational, and change management dependencies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of key data and infrastructure services in major cloud providers (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon, Azure).
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages.
• Experienced in data modeling and key data warehousing concepts (SQL, NoSQL, database schemas, dimensional models, etc.).
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning.
• Knowledge of architectural frameworks and containerization strategies including Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps processes and event-driven architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience in a professional services role delivering solutions to third-party clients.
• Experience in an enterprise, start-up, or sales engineering role.
• Experience in a team delivering bespoke solutions involving custom development or integration.
• Experience with Big Data platforms and technologies (Hadoop, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
• Experience implementing large data platforms in cloud environments.
• Experience with projects involving advanced analytics (statistical or machine learning models).
• Experience in teams employing Agile and DevOps practices.
