Big Data Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and lead end-to-end Azure data architectures for enterprise-scale platforms.
• Define architecture standards, patterns, best practices, and technical decisions.
• Gather requirements, model data, and translate business needs into scalable solution roadmaps.
• Guide engineering teams in building ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving layers.
• Ensure data governance, quality, security, and software engineering practices across platforms.
• Support pre-sales through workshops, solution envisioning, technical discussions, and proposals.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building large-scale data platforms, migrations, and decision-support systems.
• Expertise in modern data architectures, including data warehouses, lakehouses, streaming, real-time, and event-driven processing.
• Experience with Azure data services such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Cosmos, Azure SQL, Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python/PySpark, plus streaming technologies such as Kafka, Event Hub, or Spark Structured Streaming.
• Experience with data governance, security, SDLC, CI/CD, version control, testing, and data management frameworks.
• Working proficiency in English with strong communication and presentation skills; readiness to lead, mentor, and advise customers.
