TL;DR

Commercial Trading Manager (Fintech): Delivering the PAYM acquisition trading plan and working alongside Marketing, Finance, Base and the wider Trading team to report on EE’s current performance, identify opportunities and risks to the trading plan and recommend action to drive positive commercial outcomes. Focus on driving cross‑functional activity across Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams, influencing promotional plans and demand generation, and building strong stakeholder relationships across Retail, Contact Centre, and Digital.

What you will do

  • Review acquisition trading performance and provide clear commercial recommendations.
  • Present trading updates to senior leadership, including Directors and Managing Directors.
  • Lead and manage the acquisition team to deliver against the trading plan.
  • Drive cross‑functional activity across Marketing, Finance, and Commercial teams, influencing promotional plans and demand generation.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Retail, Contact Centre, and Digital, holding channels accountable for commercial targets.
  • Analyse market insights and pricing to ensure competitiveness and positive share performance.

  • Communication - Clearly present concise performance updates and commercial recommendations
  • Stakeholder management - Establish excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders and influence decision making.
  • Commercial acumen - Proactively identify and deliver commercial initiatives to drive performance
  • Work under pressure – prioritise and manage conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
