TL;DR

Business Development Manager (Fintech): Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and driving the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting to account management. Focus on daily outbound cold calls, identifying target organizations, and achieving monthly KPIs and acquisition figures within the SME market.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in London (Shoreditch). You will be required to work from the office 4-5 days per week for the first 3 months, and 3 days per week after that.

Salary: OTE £60,000–£70,000 (uncapped commission structure)

What you will do

  • Manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to account management.
  • Make 30-50 outbound cold calls daily to SME owner-directors.
  • Identify target industries and organizations by working closely with sales and growth teams.
  • Prospect into target organizations using various outbound sales tools, campaigns, and referrals.
  • Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM.
  • Consistently achieve monthly KPIs and new acquisition figures to meet quarterly targets.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of telesales experience, ideally in B2B.
  • Proven ability to handle a high volume of outbound prospecting and lead qualification.
  • Experience in a 360 sales cycle.
  • Demonstrated track record of working to KPIs.
  • An understanding of SMEs and their financial workings.
  • Enthusiasm for building client relationships through outreach across various channels.
