TL;DR

Director, Customer Success (EdTech): Managing and leading customer success strategies and teams for corporate, campus, and government businesses in EMEA, focusing on driving product usage, customer value articulation, and significant revenue impact through renewals and upsell opportunities. Focus on executive sponsorship, team development, and influencing global CS strategy within the EMEA enterprise leadership.

Location: Remote based in EMEA, with required travel for on-site customer meetings and Executive Business Reviews across Europe.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage Customer Success for Corporate, Campus, and Government businesses in the EMEA region.
  • Drive customer success strategy, including customer health performance, success planning, and adoption playbooks.
  • Hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of Customer Success Managers.
  • Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts and build C-suite relationships across Europe.
  • Influence global Customer Success strategy and execution as a key member of the global leadership team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Services, Solution Consulting, Marketing, Content strategy, and Product teams.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Customer Success experience and 2-5+ years of experience leading Customer Success or Sales teams.
  • Proven experience in driving revenue performance (retention and growth).
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to develop deep C-suite relationships within complex accounts.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills to assess customer performance and define strategies.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and comfort working in ambiguous, quickly-changing environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

  • Experience working internationally, particularly across Europe.
  • Experience working with corporations, governments, and campuses.
  • Managed teams of approximately 10 people previously.
  • Experience with customer management tools like Gainsight, SFDC (Salesforce), and Clari.
