TL;DR

US Sales Lead (AI): Building and leading Ankar's US go-to-market strategy from the ground up, owning and closing complex enterprise deals, and setting sales standards. Focus on aggressively landing pilots, converting them into six-figure accounts, and establishing Ankar as a category leader in AI for patent workflows in the US.

Location: On-site in New York, USA. Visa sponsorship is not available for US-based roles.

Ankar is building an AI operating system for innovation, reinventing how companies generate and protect their inventions through a suite of AI modules like patent drafting and infringement detection.

What you will do

  • Own a new-business quota and run full-cycle enterprise deals end-to-end.
  • Land pilots and convert them into long-term, six-figure enterprise accounts.
  • Travel extensively to build customer relationships and drive market momentum.
  • Establish and enforce high standards across sales process, deal qualification, and pipeline discipline.
  • Translate complex AI and patent/IP workflows into clear business value for senior stakeholders.
  • Hire, coach, and develop future US Account Executives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales with a track record of closing complex, six-figure deals.
  • Experience opening new markets or building sales functions from an early stage.
  • Comfortable in a player-coach role, carrying quota while developing others.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create structure.
  • Confident selling to senior decision-makers in enterprise environments.
  • Highly disciplined with pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Willingness to travel heavily.
  • Must be able to work on-site in New York, USA.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for US-based roles.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling AI, technical platforms, or workflow software into enterprise teams.
  • Experience selling into law firms, patent attorneys, or in-house IP/R&D functions.
  • Experience building or scaling a US sales team at an early-stage company.
