Location: Remote within the United States only. The company has hubs in San Francisco, New York City, and Chicago, but this role is expected to be remote. Some roles may be scoped to a specific region.

Salary: $220,000–$253,000 USD (San Francisco Bay Area and New York City); $191,000–$220,000 USD (All Other US Locations)

What you will do

• Lead initiatives to build custom AI-driven solutions, integrating Komodo's platform and healthcare data for customer use cases.
• Develop a deep understanding of healthcare challenges and introduce innovative algorithms and software techniques.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, partnering directly with customers to resolve complex issues and implement solutions.
• Serve as a crucial liaison between customers and engineering teams, shaping the product roadmap with real-world feedback.
• Bridge the gap between AI capability and outcome by translating business challenges into measurable AI solutions and owning their end-to-end implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering collaboration.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in software and data, particularly within healthcare and technology.
• Extensive experience building scalable, best-in-class solutions that combine theoretical rigor with implementation efficiency.
• Demonstrated record of thought leadership and solution design, from conceptual frameworks to detailed execution plans.
• Knowledge of large-scale data and computational technologies, including privacy-preserving database solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, and demonstrated experience in API-driven Engineering.
• Strong ability to communicate clearly and openly with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Must have US work authorization or be a US citizen.
