What you will do
- Lead high-impact product initiatives as a technical leader across various engineering facets.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketers to innovate rapidly.
- Partner with the CTO and engineering leadership to establish technical standards and scalable software architecture.
- Break down complex requirements into manageable, incremental deliverables.
- Prioritize project timelines and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Manage risks and tradeoffs in complex project delivery while aligning with the company mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, preferably with a track record in healthcare.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Francisco, CA.
- Experience in startup environments and comfort with high-growth, fast-paced settings.
- Exceptional communication skills to explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in mental-health tech or applied AI/ML.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Ruby, and/or Python.
