Account Manager, Partners (Fintech): Managing customer relationships and driving net revenue growth through renewals, cross-sell, and upsell for a portfolio of Vena customers with an accent on account planning, bespoke pricing proposals, and managing expansion/renewal cycles. Focus on utilizing data-driven insights for customer health, collaborating with partners and internal teams, and proactive churn prevention to ensure satisfaction and long-term success.

Location: Must be based in Canada. This is a flexible position with the option of working in the Toronto office full-time, hybrid throughout the week, or entirely remotely.

Salary: $77,180 – $104,420 CAD / year

What you will do

  • Build and nurture multi-threaded relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive net revenue growth, including renewal and expansion strategies.
  • Lead the quote-to-order process, preparing pricing proposals and facilitating contract creation and execution.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to monitor account health, identify opportunities, and proactively prevent churn.
  • Collaborate with Vena’s partners and internal cross-functional departments to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively engage in learning and development, and occasionally mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven and consistent success managing client retention and growth or equivalent sales/finance experience.
  • Experience driving adoption and change management within tech organizations.
  • Applicable experience in selling to a finance audience and finance process/accounting expertise.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to build relationships with senior management and C-suite finance stakeholders.
  • High level of organization in workflows and time prioritization for a client portfolio.
  • A growth mindset and commitment to personal and professional development.
