What you will do
- Design and implement the end-to-end Deal Desk framework, including the "Quote-to-Cash" workflow and deal approval levels.
- Lead the setup of billing for complex or non-standard deals, ensuring 100% accuracy between the signed contract and financial systems.
- Proactively identify and resolve billing bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies, leading system and process improvements.
- Act as the final "Quality Gate" for all deals, reviewing and approving smaller deals and actively structuring larger ones.
- Review and approve all amendments to pricing and contract terms, ensuring alignment with financial guidelines and legal requirements.
- Educate the Sales team on deal structuring best practices to improve submission quality and reduce friction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk or Sales Operations, with a track record of transitioning companies from manual to structured processes.
- Strong operational rigor with a low tolerance for "messy" data, ensuring 100% CRM and billing data accuracy.
- Deep understanding of SaaS commercial terms, subscription billing models, and common pitfalls in software contracting.
- Ability to assertively partner with Sales teams to ensure quality while being a problem solver in closing deals.
- Strong experience with CRM systems and an understanding of their integration with billing/accounting software.
- Proactive personality, eager to improve reporting and planning maturity by ensuring perfect data input.
