Location: Livingston, NJ / New York, NY / Sunnyvale, CA / Bellevue, WA. Salary: $188,000 to $275,000

What you will do
- Build extremely high-performance interfaces for visualizing and planning datacenter infrastructure.
- Develop interactive planning tools for rack elevations, floor layouts, power distribution, and network topology.
- Create data-dense views and dashboards for build planning and asset tracking across hirify.global's global footprint.
- Architect the frontend from the ground up, including component library, state management, data fetching patterns, and build tooling.
- Integrate tightly with backend APIs (gRPC, GraphQL, or REST), collaborating closely with backend engineers.
Requirements
- Deep proficiency with TypeScript and React, understanding React's rendering model at a low level.
- Demonstrated experience building interfaces that handle large, complex datasets with extreme performance requirements (virtualized rendering, canvas/WebGL).
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture: component design, state management, data fetching and caching patterns, and build tooling.
- 7+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with meaningful senior-level ownership of production systems and foundational architectural decision-making.
- Genuine curiosity about or direct experience with physical datacenter infrastructure (servers, GPUs, network switches, cooling).
- Strong communication skills to work across network engineering, fleet engineering, operations, and design teams.
Nice to have
- Direct experience with datacenter operations, infrastructure planning, or familiarity with DCIM tools like NetBox or Sunbird.
- Experience working alongside backend teams writing Go, and comfort collaborating on API design.
- Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code, Kubernetes, or cloud platform concepts.
- Experience with frontend observability, CI/CD pipelines, and modern build systems.
- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and frontend security best practices for internal tooling.
