Technical Web Lead

TL;DR

Technical Web Lead (Next.js/React): Own the Fireworks marketing web platform end-to-end and lead the technical execution of a major web refresh with an accent on Next.js monorepo architecture, Sanity content modeling (GROQ), and high-performance delivery on Vercel. What you will do

• Own the architecture and health of the marketing web platform: Next.js monorepo, Sanity Studio, and Vercel hosting.
• Evolve and scale Sanity content architecture, including content modeling, GROQ queries, and dataset structure.
• Lead the technical execution of the web refresh: set direction, define milestones, and drive delivery without a dedicated PM.
• Manage Vercel deployment workflows (ISR revalidation, preview environments) and third-party integrations (Mux, HubSpot, GitHub Actions).
• Drive performance and quality: Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse auditing, caching, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO.
• Partner with Marketing Operations, Digital, and Growth on martech integrations, experimentation, landing pages, and analytics; communicate trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 6–8+ years of professional experience in full-stack or frontend-heavy web development.
• 4+ years of production experience with React and Next.js, including SSR, SSG, app router, and performance optimization.
• Strong fluency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Deep experience with Sanity (or comparable headless CMS): content modeling, GROQ, structured data, and composable architecture.
• Proficiency with Vercel: deployments, ISR, edge functions, preview environments, and environment management.
• Experience managing third-party integrations and directing an external agency/vendor; strong ability to own delivery end-to-end without a dedicated PM.
