What you will do
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and opportunity identification through to close.
- Grow revenue through active pipeline development and strategic account planning within assigned accounts.
- Develop and present solution-focused proposals for software and services.
- Build strong customer relationships and work through issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by tracking pipeline activity and opportunity progression in CRM systems.
- Represent the software portfolio at customer meetings, industry events, and speaking engagements.
Requirements
- University degree; Master or technical degree is advantageous.
- Proven experience in full-cycle software or SaaS sales in research or academic environments, including new business development.
- Strong consultative selling skills and the ability to operate effectively in complex sales environments.
- Experience working in a team-based selling model with internal partners.
- Sales experience at senior levels (minimum of 5 years).
- Public sector tender (RFI / RFP) experience and experience selling enterprise software.
- Experienced in working in an international matrixed organisation.
