What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and support Workday integrations, including inbound, outbound, and middleware-based integrations.
• Build and consume JSON-based REST APIs and Workday web services (REST and SOAP).
• Develop integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, and Workday Extend with limited guidance.
• Own integration development from requirements through deployment and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including error handling, retries, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior developers and functional counterparts in building reliable applications.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in enterprise software or systems integration.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing Workday HCM integrations.
• Workday certifications (Integrations, Extend, Orchestrate).
• Strong experience with JSON-based APIs, REST web services, and XML.
• Hands-on expertise with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio.
• Solid understanding of Workday Business Process Framework and security concepts.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI-powered developer productivity tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Experience delivering on Workday Extend platform (Orchestrate experience a plus).
