What you will do

• Design and engineer enterprise and service provider routing architectures using BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, and EVPN.
• Deploy and troubleshoot core/edge routers and high-scale BGP environments on Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, or Arista platforms.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations, and new service turn-ups.
• Develop High-Level (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, including network diagrams and implementation runbooks.
• Implement routing security measures such as RPKI and CoPP.
• Manage project workstreams, track deliverables, and lead client-facing discovery sessions.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in service provider, ISP, or large-scale enterprise networking.
• Expert-level knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS (LDP/RSVP-TE/SR), and EVPN.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR/IOS-XR, Juniper MX/Junos, Nokia SR OS, or Arista platforms.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong skills in packet analysis, protocol debugging, and QoS (DiffServ, HQoS).
• Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE SP, JNCIP/JNCIE-SP, or ARISTA ACE.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DWDM/optical networking.
• Prior experience in consulting or professional services, including scoping engagements and writing SOWs.
