What you will do

• Lead the vision and strategic alignment for enabling a full suite of hirify.global applications on Google Cloud.
• Drive execution within a highly matrixed environment, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Hire, nurture, and lead a world-class team of 10–15 engineers delivering production-grade cloud frameworks and infrastructure automation tools.
• Provide technical stewardship and guidance to architects and product owners, ensuring resilient and optimized services.
• Influence and govern innovation while making critical decisions on risk and scalability.
• Serve as a strategic leader for Scrum teams, ensuring high velocity and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years leading software development teams with a track record of delivering technically demanding products at scale.
• Deep experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform or Pulumi.
• Extensive experience in Golang or Python, prioritizing automation over manual intervention.
• Proven ability to work across organizational boundaries and build consensus in a complex corporate structure.
• Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes (GKE preferred), Service Mesh (Istio), and public cloud networking/security primitives.
• Strict adherence to engineering best practices including unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modular design.
• Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
