What you will do

• Establish strategic technical vision to improve reliability, scalability, and availability of global infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product management and other engineering teams to drive critical business initiatives.
• Maintain hands-on involvement through coding, design reviews, and root-causing production issues.
• Build and scale the engineering team through recruitment, mentoring, and performance management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing, leading, and inspiring engineering teams.
• 10+ years of total software engineering experience with proven technical leadership.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and a strong understanding of backend development and database systems.
• Experience with agile development and managing complex projects within resource constraints.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Proven track record of managing platform teams in high-growth environments.
• Expertise in modern cloud and DevOps practices for scalable solutions.
