TL;DR

Account Executive - Public Sector (Cybersecurity): Expanding existing customers and acquiring new ones within the UKI Public Sector by leveraging solution selling and building customer & partner relationships. Focus on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, staying knowledgeable of market trends, and advocating for client needs to drive revenue growth.

Location: Onsite in Reading, United Kingdom. Requires weekly travel for customer and partner meetings.

What you will do

  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by identifying, qualifying, and closing new Public Sector business opportunities.
  • Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position hirify.global's cybersecurity offerings as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay knowledgeable about cybersecurity and cloud market trends to demonstrate credibility and expertise.
  • Turn client feedback into actionable strategies to drive new business and influence client choices.
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with various functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing account growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience within a software or technology environment, ideally in cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record of success driving revenue through prospecting, new business creation, and sustainably growing existing business.
  • Experience selling into local government or smaller central government customers, potentially via a VAR.
  • Demonstrated accountability for achieving targets, tenacity, determination, and an entrepreneurial sales approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously, breaking goals into actionable milestones, and adapting to changing business priorities.
  • Ability to travel for customer and partner meetings weekly.
